Park programs (guided hikes, nature programs and events) are offered year-round throughout Regional Parks in the Central Okanagan. Our enthusiastic team of park interpreters are eager to share their knowledge of nature and provide inspiration for outdoor exploration.

    Roll & stroll

    A program for parents, parents-to-be, and caregivers to enjoy the outdoors with little ones. Join us for a guided walk along accessible trails in Mission Creek Regional Park, connect with other families, and discover the benefits of fresh air and gentle exercise. Program runs on Friday mornings from April through October. Registration required.

    Scorpions after dark 🦂

    Explore the park at night and search for scorpions using UV light. Learn about their behaviour, habitat and role in the ecosystem.

    Nature-inspired felting workshop

    Embrace your creative side through the art of felting! Take inspiration from the colours, textures, and patterns found in nature as you learn basic felting and crafting techniques. Create your own unique nature-inspired felt piece to take home. All materials will be provided. Registration required
